The Georgia Dental Hygienists' Association represents over 6,350 licensed dental hygienists in the state. Hygienists are participating in the legislative process and supporting many issues to improve quality preventive oral health care for the patient. Your help is necessary for success!!

To find out who your legislators are use the Find Your Legislator link or look on your voter registration card to see what State Senate and House districts you are in and then click on the above links. You can find the legislators by district #. See also How to Contact your Legislator.

You should maintain your relationships with legislators (contacting them every two months) if they are running for office again. If you have new candidates, get acquainted and discuss issues. Work on campaigns - stuffing envelopes or phone networking buys more than $$$.
