Note: The information submitted above will be used by the legislative chairman to verify that you are a hygienist licensed to practice in Georgia. If you have dental hygienist friends that you think would be interested in being included in this e-mail list, give them the address of this web page.

How to Join:

• To subscribe to the list (join), send an e-mail message to: RDHCare-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Your request to subscribe will be sent to the legislative chairman to approve. The legislative chairman will determine from the information submitted above that you are a hygienist and will approve your subscription.
• To unsubscribe (remove yourself from the list), send a message to: RDHCare-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
• To send a message to the list owner, address your message to: RDHCare-owner@yahoogroups.com
• To change your e-mail address after joining, go to the link below and log in with your old e-mail address and a password that you make up. You will be shown the list(s) of which you are a member. Email Preferences. Then click Add/Edit E-mail Addresses.

Information about this List

• This mailing list is a listserv that is maintained on a remote server. YahooGroups.com is a free list service. Messages have a very short ad message at the bottom. There are two distinct advantages to this type of mailing list over a distribution list:

1. It is maintained on a server instead of an individual's computer. Therefore, it is not dependent on that one person's computer being operational or the person being available.
2. Members' e-mail addresses will not be shown on the messages that are sent. This protects the privacy of the list members.

• This particular list has been set up as a restricted list, meaning that membership on the list is restricted to only those that the moderator (legislative chairman) approves. This keeps the general public from joining. It is also a moderated list, meaning that the messages that go out must be approved by a moderator. Currently, the moderators of this list are the legislative chairman and webmaster of G.D.H.A. This list is also configured so that replies to the messages will go to the author of the message.
