Duties:
The incumbent for this position will assess individual and community needs for health education on lead (Pb) poisoning prevention. As health educator, the person will coordinate the planning of effective health education, communication, and public awareness activities for the Georgia Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (GCLPPP). Also, the position provides technical  assistance, training, and guidance to program staff in developing and implementing lead (Pb) education, communications, and public awareness activities for assigned program areas. In addition, guidance is provided to staff in evaluating the effectiveness of health education programs.
