President's Message:
Hello everyone,
We are Planning our fall schedule of meetings for the Sweetwater Component of the GDHA. Our first meeting will be Monday Sept. 14 at 6:00pm. We will meet at West Georgia Technical College in the Radiology room across from the biology lab. This will be a CE opportunity for 2 CE's. Our Speaker will be Lynne Slim, and the topic is "How to become passionate about periodontal therapy" This will be one you will not want to miss!! We will also welcome the new hygiene graduates from West Georgia and have a short business meeting following the presentation. We would love to have you and any other hygienists you may know at our meetings. The CE courses are free for all ADHA/GDHA members but non-members are welcome to attend and the CE courses are $10.00 per hour. This course will be $20.00 for our 2 hour speaker for non-members. We will have light refreshments provided. Please come and join us. Feel free to email me with any questions. The meetings are held at West Georgia Technical College, Douglasville Campus, in the Radiology room across from the dental/biology clinic in Bldg A, on Mondays as scheduled at 6:00
pm.
Meeting Agenda:
6:00 - 8:00 PM Continuing Education (2 CE credits per meeting)
Short Component Business Meeting immediately following.
All Georgia Dental Hygienists' Association members and students are free; non-members are $10 per CE credit. We will have receipts for employers if needed. You can also attend for free if you become a member of GDHA at our meetings.
