Community Project Events

When: Saturday, March 20, 2010

Where: Old Farmer’s Hardware Building, Hwy 78/Lexington Road, Athens

Event information: "Georgia Child Identification Program" http://www.gachip.org/

A service free of charge to parents of minor children, where we collect vital information about the child,i.e. name, address, phone, parents name, digital finger prints, photos, and dental "tooth prints" (which provide not only a print of the bite but also some DNA and scent for tracking purposes). The organization puts all of this information on a CD and package it into a an envelope with the "tooth print" for the parent in the event that their child ever goes missing. This information can very quickly be provided to the local law enforcement agencies to assist with locating the missing child. None of the information collected is kept by the Freemasons and all of it goes into the packet.
