SPEAKERS, THEIR TOPICS & BIOGRAPHIES

Cary Goldstein, DMD- (bio)-  National and international speaker.

TOPIC- "Hygiene: The Patients Co-Diagnostician"
You have all heard it before, "the hygiene department is the backbone of the dental practice". So why do so many offices expect you to simply clean the patients teeth, regardless of the periodontal or restorative condition of the patient. Dentistry needs our hygienists to expand their focus, open their horizons and help the dental practice and the dentist to "co-diagnose" your patients disease and esthetic concerns. After this course, you will be able to show your dentist just what he/she should be looking at during their exam, what esthetic concerns the patient may have, and what treatments you have already discussed with the patient. You will become a more valuable team member by using your new skills to help your patients achieve the smile they deserve.
